Don't dare look for anything in the area around his business because it goes downhill really fast after dark. That includes the nearby cities of Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Pompano Beach, Oakland Park, Wilton Manors, and most of Fort Lauderdale. You can certainly look around for something located very near the beach (east of Hwy 1) and feel ok about it. You can also look northward at the cities of Coconut Creek, most of Coral Springs, all of Parkland, western part of Sunrise, western part of Tamarac, and western part of Deerfield Beach. That covers a lot of territory with all kinds of dwellings. Be wary of all public schools except in Parkland. Consider a private school and even then, be careful. I can practically ure you that most of South Florida is absolutely nothing like your area in Colorado.
