My friend thinks shes in love?

my best friend really likes this guy and she thinks she may be in love with him. she talks about him every day and thinks about him every night. she has very many dreams about him and she even likes his imperfections. like for example she likes his congested cough. she thinks its cute. but at the same time as all of this is happening... she gets really depressed and really stressed out that she cant talk to him. she gets really nervous like they dont talk in school. but they talk about really serious stuff on text. she crys alot about him and she even has dreams about him. like almost every night. she did ask him if he liked her and he said only as freind. but he seems like he likes her more then a friend. he cares about her problems. and hes really sweet to her. i think the situations messed up and i feel really bad for her. bc i cant really do anything to help.but i wish i could. any advice?
