When is the best time to go to Venezuela?

Venezuela is a beautiful country, and I would highly recommend going to visit! I have been at Christmas time and in May. It would be fun to go during a holiday (such as San Juan, Carnival, Easter, etc) to see the way things work, but I will advise that the whole country shuts down for holidays, so you may want to go another time.
