Why don't governments allow country's to fall when they are past hope?

didn't really know we had any leadership. anyone who thinks were going to get out of this mess without a lot of pain is smoking something real good. I think we will survive but our way of life will not.I will never give up but I can't do it alone. I need the people who are sleeping out there to wake-up and help put this country back on the right path.
