Does this mean he was happy to hear it?

okay theres this guy i like and we were texting and he lives across the country (i met him last summer) and i am going there after school ends to stay there permanently and we were just casually talking and i brought it up that i was going to be there after the end of school and he said "tru that ill be down here too" does that mean he was happy to hear i was coming?
