Does this sound like a good idea?
Alright, So i'm in college and I really want to learn about my culture and where it originated from. So i looked into being apart of a Latino based Greek fraternity, but i don't feel they go more in-depth with the culture. So me and a few of my roommates are thinking of starting a cultural Fraternity that revolves around Aztec ideology. I want it to be open to all people of color, but for those that want to become a "brother" (we are calling then "cuāuhtli" or Eagle Warrior) they have to go through an educational process of learning Aztec philosophy and culture. We want the process to be a learning experience that really enables it's members to be in touch with their cultural roots, and a sense of viewing the world differently. Does this sound like a bad or good idea? And if this sounds similar to another organization please let me know. Thanks!
