CPU or motherboard is fried. How can I tell?

Hi. I ran speedfan utility on my home-built system. It showed that my system temp was 124 degrees celsius. I didn't have a fan plugged into the sys. fan connection built into the motherboard. I had recently reset the heatsink/fan combo on the CPU, but didn't completely remove all existing thermal paste. I have since learned that was wrong. That's why I don't know if it the CPU or the board itself. Windows XP runs extremely slow. I tried to back up my docs., music and such, but it ran too slow and finally failed the burn three times. Anyone know how I can better ID the problem? Additionally, the OS has not allowed security updates in about two months. So at this point I'm not sure if it is the CPU, motherboard or a bad install of the operating system that has gone bad. Please help. Thanks.

i am the EXACT same way. give me a minute to give someone advice in person, and its nothing compared to what i could do in a minute through writing. my mom got frustrated with me today cause I wasn't articulating, so she couldn't understand me. (which isn't entirely my fault, because I've had speaking problems for the longest time) but i write so much better than i talk. when i get excited, angry i start to talk real fast, and my words slur and they make so much more sense in my head. as far as what to do i'm not so sure, but what helps me is just to think through what i'm about to say, and slowly talk. it helps me to know that i'm not the only one struggling with this, and i hope it helps you too.

You can certainly look around for something located very near the beach (east of Hwy 1) and feel ok about it. You can also look northward at the cities of Coconut Creek, most of Coral Springs, all of Parkland, western part of Sunrise, western part of Tamarac, and western part of Deerfield Beach. That covers a lot of territory with all kinds of dwellings. Be wary of all public schools except in Parkland. Consider a private school and even then, be careful. Vitamins/Supplements & Increased Appetite?

Most supplements should not increase your appetite (unless they specifcally say so). I have taken lots of different kinds, including zinc, magnesium, vitamin c, probiotics, etc. None of them (i don't believe) were the cause of any kind of weight gain. In fact, vitamin C has been known to help reduce hunger levels and increase energy. I'd be interested to know if any of the common supplements have led to other weight gain as well.

It's a good sentence, but if it's for homework, you're probably better not saying "figures" try something a bit more formal. You need a wee bit more punctuation after the semicolon eg "when she does, instead of yelling, he encourages her." that way it doesn't sound so much like a spiel, it breaks it up a bit and it doesn't then sound like she's the one doing the shouting at first. Why Do Baseball Fans Do This?

First I need to tell you the background. I used to be addicted to heroin from like 16 to about 20. I was introduced to many different drugs and it was easier to stick to heroin till it became a problem. When I was 20 I did a hit of acid that changed my life. The very next day I gave myself naltrexone hydrochloride which precipitates the withdrawal symptoms. It was the most painful experience in my life but saves me time as I get over withdrawals quicker. I never touched heroin again. For the next five years I did about 3 trips of acid a year (feels like enough) and it showed me things. Showed me with a God like perspective how the world works. I learnt the guitar in a matter of months and am now a good guitarist. Recently I saw something that was indescribable in words that showed me the universe. I didn't know what it was. A few months later I see the same pattern on art work. I found out it was called a mandala and that Buddhist monks use it to meditate as it takes them back to that state of consciousness where they see the mandala at the twelfth level of enlightenment. I have heard Jim Morrison say in one of his concerts, "Have you seen the Mandala? Have you seen God?" It showed me the cyclic nature of the universe. And that in death there would be rebirth. Everything happens in cycles governed by karma. From a global perspective I understood that this system keeps trying to take a hold on peoples' lives which ends in rebellion then the system rises again and rebellion again. The same goes for dominance of the es. Men constantly keep women down and when the world needs them they come forward and save the world from man. Our problems of over population has happened before as ancient advanced civilisations existed that had to face the ice age and near extinction. Our ancestors were the survivors of these civilisations that were tered around the globe and had to resort to barbaric times after the ice age. I understood other things that are too many to type. I understood what Jesus meant by saying that a church divided is no church at all. I understood that Darwin was inaccurate and that evolution does go on but natural selection is not all there is. Evolution leads for us to adapt. We did evolve intelligently from single cell organisms. No mutations were random. Depending on the environment life was present. Dinosaurs existed in a world with high methane and swamp gases. We could not survive there. The lack of methane probably killed them when the world went to it mammalian phase. Every mutation that drives evolution is intelligent and useful for survival and that intelligent design is everywhere in the universe. Life can exist anywhere and the whole universe is conscious through experience in life.

So i looked into being apart of a Latino based Greek fraternity, but i don't feel they go more in-depth with the culture. I want it to be open to all people of color, but for those that want to become a "brother" (we are calling then "cuāuhtli" or Eagle Warrior) they have to go through an educational process of learning Aztec philosophy and culture. Legal issue surrounding source code.?

I have found myself in a situation in which I am being asked to release source code I had written as a contracted programmer (no actual contract was created, I was contracted in the sense that I was not on taxed payroll, often called independent contracting). I was not paid for much of the time and much of the salary which was owed. A few months after I found a new job, the guy is asking for the source code so that currently working programmers can modify it. There was no mention of back-payment. Can I demand payment for the source code before releasing it to him? Is there a grey area in entitlement and intellectual property in a case like this? Because, in the past, he has payed my minimally, is he entitled to the code then? The monetary amount is roughly 3-4 thousand for something like 200 hours of unpaid development.

I love that. I was talking to my best friend once from 10pm until 8 in the morning. What's a healthy weight?

I'm a girl, 5'8, and I'm 16. I'm super skinny, like btwn 104 and 109 lbs (according to my Wii fit, i don't know how accurate it is though). I got blood taken and the results showed that I'm healthy so I don't think Im malnourished. But people think Im anorexic when food is like, my best friend. Does Keeping the Soil Moist Reduce A Shift In The House?

Ok, My wife and I purchased our first home three years ago. I noticed that lately the back door is not closing properly. There is a small gap at the top. I also noticed that the fireplace(Brick) next to it has cracks along the roof(Small but you can see them). I noticed the door closes better in cooler weather and when the ground is moist. I was afraid my foundation was cracked but someone told me that it could be the fireplace's weight or the ground shifting(I also noticed cracks in my backyard). I do live in Texas where the soil is always crazy. I hear a soaker hose around the edge of the house may help this? Well that's a half way decent sub so you'll want good stuff powering it, for the wiring get anything bigger than 4 gauge because if you go smaller to like 6 gauge, you start losing power to the amp. Make sure the brand of wire you get isn't some cheap $&@! From walmart. In wiring you want to spend a little extra to make sure you have everything all good. For the amp I have no clue because it really depends on how much you want to spend, for this sub spend the little more to get an amp that won't blow your sub and won't cut it out

If my son is lactoast intolerant now?

I was lactose intolerant as a baby and was switched to soy formula at 4 months old. At 8 years old I had to go for a test that I breathed into a tube to test if I was truly lactose intolerant. I was. I've yet to outgrow it at 20 years old and my son is lactose intolerant also. There is a chance he could outgrow it, but he has worse symptoms than I do. Only time will tell, but there is a possibility of it going either way, either he will or won't. There really isn't a way to tell right now. Good thing you found out sooner than later. My son was suffering from not being able to have bowel movements at 2 months old all the way up to being a year and a half! I followed doctor's advice to not switch his milk, only as a last resort. Well that finally did the trick, but he developed a hernia from straining to go for so long. Hope that helps! Take care of the little boy!

Ok I get pregnancy symptoms early, like with in a week of conception early. So for weeks I have had symptoms and a week before my af was to arrive I begin takeing pregnancy test. I go threw five digitals. All bfn. two days before my period is to arrive I take the dollar general early response test and get two bfp one is faint the other is darker (one was fmu). So obviously I go to the dr. The next day (Now this was at 6:30pm so not fmu) and get a negative. I'm takeing a blood test tomorrow of course but I'm confused am I pregnant? Did I have a chemical pregnancy? If so wouldn't I be bleeding (I am not bleeding just clear discharge) I know I seem worried but this would be my first pregnancy since my miscarriage and I know I'm not crazy.

What Qb should i play in week 15? Mark Sanchez or Chad Henne?

Preferably neither, Sanchez has been inconsistent all year long, while being especially bad the past few games. Henne hasn't even been much of a fantasy option for weeks. If I had to choose one guy though, I'd go with Sanchez, the main reason being the matchups. Sanchez is going against the Steelers, who have only the 23rd best p defense in the NFL. Henne on the other hand has a much tougher p defense to play against in the Bills, who are the 4th best p defense in the NFL. Antibiotic allergic reaction?

I was prescribed to take an antibiotic for 10 days for bronchitis. I'm not sure what it was called but it started with a c. I started having weird symptoms while I was on it but didn't think much of it. I was getting bloody stools and my face was extremely red in my cheeks and across my nose. If someone gets some alcohol shipped to them illegally and offeres it to you, don;t get caught, or drive, I saw a soldier get DUI in Kuwait, UCMJ action for him. They drive like crazy over there as well if you are allowed to go outside the wire. They will inspect you vehicle for bombs even in Kuwait, it is also known as a combat zone so you may get a combat patch out of this. If you get a chance you may want to visit Kuwait city, depending on where you are...however...the mall is great, they had TGIFridays in town. I was there in Novmner-febuary time frame, around February it started to get hot during the day and cold at night. in Nov. it was cold. They like to shoot their weapons off allot so watch out for this. They are just like the wild wild west down there. There is a MWR pool area by some smoke stacks by the old CP Doha, but again that depends how close to it your unit is and what kind of shifts they will put you in, I was on 12 hour shifts with one day off. In the chowhalls they may still served one day of lobster and steak and your NCO can order steaks and hambagur meat from MWR, if he wants to have a BBQ cookout for like holiday get togethers and still do shift work at the same time.
